Guinness unveils the world`s most bizarre records of 2008 London, Sept 30: When it comes to the world's achievers, nothing beats the ultimate accolade -- a place in Guinness World Records for demonstrating bizarre skills. Zheng Da Zong Yi broke the record for most head spins in one minute at 101 in China. Jackie Bibby from New York holds the record for the placing the greatest number of live rattlesnakes in the mouth for ten seconds. Americans Bryan Berg built the highest card stack, Kenneth Lee sliced the most apples with a samurai sword in a minute and Kathie Jung had the smallest waist measured at 15 inches. Nothing is too wacky. Guinness has a spot for you. The annual compendium, the latest edition of which was published on Friday (September 28), even has a section entitled Trivial Pursuits. Few would argue with the title as Guinness lists the globe's finest practitioners at putting the cover on a duvet, kicking yourself in the head and throwing paper aircraft into a bucket. 1083 people broke the record for the greatest number of participants to carry out a Chinese whisper - in none other than China. The world's fastest office sped (on wheels) at 87mph past Big Ben in London. Alberto Aires in Brazil broke the record for carrying out the greatest number of consecutive doughnuts (spins) by car. And Michael Jackson received an award for the most successful entertainer of all-time when he earned 125 million US dollars in 1989 alone from single and album sales. www.zeenews.com/articles.asp?aid=398244&sid=LIF&ssid=204
