Twins on 'Michael Jackson' robbery chargesBy Kellie Cameron September 30, 2007 12:00am Article from: Sunday Herald POLICE have charged twin brothers over a string of armed robberies known as the Michael Jackson hold-ups in Melbourne's outer suburbs. Attendants at six service stations were left traumatised after being robbed by bandits carrying samurai swords. The bandits were often masked and wearing at least one white glove, similar to the one made famous by the pop star. Tu and Thu Nguyen, both 20 and from St Albans, have been remanded in custody and will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on January 9. The armed robbery charges follow six hold-ups at four service stations in St Albans and two in Thomastown since April 28. Any information on the robberies should be given to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22504106-421,00.html
