they from mjjf like a cult, kiss heer ass or else you cant speak or talk bout nithing, everybody got agrree with her Yer breakin' my heart, sweetie. MJJF is not a cult and I don't have to defend my actions to someone like you. LOL! This is one of the best publicity moves I have ever witnessed! Bravo! LOL! Yeah, now that I think of it, this is great for you, Raquel. Get everybody fighting and they pay attention? And the post about "unity?" Strife is comin' from here, but MJJF is well-moderated and you won't see disrespect like calling various fanboards "cults" over there. Calm down, peeps, and especially those who know nothing about the history of this. Lady707

Can't we all just get along! Stop fighting...this is about Michael Jackson...not ego eccentric board owners that have no life. Get over it.

Where is the Unity yeah where is the Unity... The unity is not in attacking one another, and in realizing the larger mission, which is to support Michael. The boards are different, and do different things. Each person is free to find an appropriate "home." The theme of MJJF is respect. Anything that resembles dirty laundry and attacking one another should be done in private. The policy about advertising fan events on MJJF remains the same. Only rarely and for cause do we allow such advertising in General Discussion. peace, Lady707

You obviously never been there LOL Ask Trish yourself - I've had plenty of disagreements with her - and I'm still admin *shrugs* As for whether or not the treatment was fair, well, yes, I think that it was fair not to put the thread in General Discussion! MsTenda has every right to allow or deny whichever threads she wants in the forums she sees fit. I personally move dozens of threads each day, but I cannot find them all, and neither do the moderators - we are but human. So, sometimes things get to stay, even if they shouldn't. And sometimes we say "The heck with it" and leave it if it's been there too long before we find it. But the policy is, fanclub parties MUST be promoted in the Fan & Fanclub section... Sometimes we do give permission to threads to stay in another forum for an amount of time, but usually, fanclub events are promoted in the fan & fanclub section. ThAT is the only fair thing to do, because that way everyone gets equal treatment. IMO - that constitutes fair... This is absolutely true. The policy at MJJF is that announcements of fanclub parties and events go in the Fan & Fanclub forum. Any advertisements on GD of fanclub events must be ok'd by administration, and Raquel, yours was not approved to be in GD. Mods do not move things at will, but try very hard to follow MJJF policy. It is a complex board, with many sections. The response to your question was, and I quote from your post: "(fan events are not allowed) without special permission. As of now moderators are moving events to fan and fanclub sections." You did not have that permission. Whoever moved it was following policy. Any "innuendos" about possible mismanagement of the MJJF event will remain undiscusssed in terms of specifics because that is a private matter. i'm the type of person that if i have an issue with someone, i will go directly to them and address them personally. now for example, if that person decides not to deal with the issue and basically just tell me to shut up and deal with it, and if i feel that i'm being treated unfairly i will voice it. the only reason why i went public with my issue is because an unfair action was taken against me (stated previously). when you quote something make sure you quote everything, because you left out the part that Trish told me NO fan event was allowed in the GD. the "special permission," quote was not from Trish, but another staff member, after the fact. i always understood that NO means NO. if you allow some fan clubs and not others your not being fair period, whether you have the right or not to do it isn't the point. the point is... its not fair and has the appearance of favoritism, so you cant expect people to like it or not have an opinion about it. and the biggest point of all since you are bringing up special permission... why wouldn't i receive special permission after all i did for you guys??? i never has to toot my own horn as much as i have done in regards to last years event, but it seems like, that it keeps getting ignored and not addressed, so i feel i need to keep reminding you about the reality of the situation. you all know it and so do the fans because they were there. why wouldn't you do everything in your power to spread the word about my event? it doesn't matter if you like me or not, it doesn't change the fact of my role last year, and the fact that i did the same thing for you guys and more.and yet i feel that you guys feel you dont owe me any type of the same courtesy. if ever there was a time to make an exception to your rules then i feel it definetly should have been with me. if the situation was reversed you wouldn't have had to even ask me "special permission," because it would have already have been done. everyone that knows me knows that. there hasn't been a fan that asked for my help and i haven't gone out of my way to help them. obviously we have different views on what a MJ fan community should be about. i believe in freedom of speech even on fan boards. i dont approve of foul language however. i believe that fans should unite with other fans regardless of how they feel about the fan leader. i believe that that events/projects are not about the fan club its about Michael and the fans.

1. I would never allow any member attack you on my board, Raquel. You talk about unity and respect, however you are allowing your members or guests to attack me. I doubt that you will remove the attacks from "bubba" and "frost", and that is your call. But please don't allow unity and respect to fly off of your finger tips.
2. I refuse to put on blast WHY I'm not allowing your event on the main forum. Granted, you were the producers of the event, but never forget the money that was MILKED from us (some of which is still being scrutinized and questioned) that was freely flowing for last years party. From building a permanent stage extension for The Front Door, to the sound engineer that you withheld MY funds from. (and I haven't heard anything about the alleged legal action that was pending regarding the sound engineer not being paid) It seems that there were a lot of shady, unethical things that happened last year, and we are STILL investigating. I'm not saying you are involved in anything shady, however because you were the producer and all financial transactions went through you, we must err on the side of caution. With all that said, what I have mentioned is the tip of the iceberg. There is plenty more, but I REFUSE TO AIR IT OUT IN THE PUBLIC.
Is it that you want a public fight so you can gain sympathy? If you wanted ANSWERS, WHY DIDN'T YOU SIMPLY CALL ME LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO WHEN YOU HAVE A QUESTION?
What more do you want from me? I've thanked you for the party last year, which was a TEAM EFFORT, NOT JUST YOURS. You were credited on the DVD, the programs, and everything else. What more do you want?
You and your members are pushing me into a response, and trust me, you will not like the response I put out on the forum and eNews. I am requesting you and your members to please stop this and back up off of us. I do not wish this to go any further. The decision has been made regarding your party and where it will be promoted on MJJForum.
This is all I have to say on your forum. I can tell you tho, the next response will be an official one from MJJForum on MJJForum, eNews and will be carried on our affiliate sites. It will be a statement from myself and my civil attorney so all the T's are crossed and I's are dotted. Again, before it gets to that, I am requesting you to cease with this and to move on.
I wish you success with the party.

I wish you success with the party. let me first say thank you for coming on my board on my birthday. i'm sure you meant to wish me a happy birthday lol! first you suspend me for disagreeing with you, then you come on my board and basically threaten me? then you apologize? and now you are back to threatening me again? for the record i dont want anything from you. what i did want before was a little support but once you suspended me i knew that was not possible so that issue is mute. you keep saying you wont go public with things, but you in fact just did. also i'm pretty sure by the things you have posted here you are in violation of your own confidentiality agreement, by commenting on specific behind the scenes information that no fans would have knowledge of. i'm going to check on that one. you keep saying "this is all i have to say," but yet you keep posting? Trish, i didn't even say anything more to you here. so what is it that you want me to stop? are you giving me advise on how to run this board or are you telling me how to run it? i only replied to your members that keep coming on here posting new comments. if you want things to stop then tell your members to stop posting. you are free to send enews and make official statements because of the very thing i stand behind....freedom of speech. just realize that when you do that even more fans will hear my side too. i dont say or do things without being able to prove it so i'm not afraid of any of your threats. i STILL have not spoke about things that i witnessed as a staff member or what i was told to do. [glow=red,2,300] like you i do not wish this to go any further so stop making threats or allegations towards me.[/glow] you can control me on your board, but this board does not belong to mjjforum, so i'll run it the way i want too. if fans have opinions that dont envolve foul language they can voice it......end of discussion. you have my phone# too so you can call me as well.

MJJF does support other fan groups/clubs events. There is a specific forum just for such topics. MJJF often sends out notices of other fan group/club events in their eNews. Such actions are done at MJJF's discretion and should be seen as a courtesy, not an obligation. It should be obvious to any group or groups as to why they are not shown such courtesy.
As for MJJF's own events, they have, are and always will be posted in the General Discussion Forum. I fail to see the issue.
